FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: present invention can be used in electrical engineering for supplying users with electricity, without short-term drop in voltage. In the device mains voltage is applied through a cable across a circuit, consisting of parallel connected inductor L, capacitor C and load equivalent parameters Rp and Lp. Capacitance of the cable supplying the user is also connected in parallel to the reactive elements L and C. Characteristics of reactive elements L and C are chosen such that, with known capacitance of the cable of given length and cross section, the "supply cable - user - reactive elements" system is tuned to resonance of voltage at the fundamental frequency.
EFFECT: more reliable protection and faultless operation of users.
