FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed three-phase high ac voltage converter relates to converting technology. It has an input power transformer, rectifier block, connected to a block of smoothing capacitors, which are connected to corresponding inputs of blocks of stand-alone inverters, made, for example on a three-level circuit of a voltage inverter with a neutral point. The outputs of the latter are respectively connected to lead-outs of several windings of a multiple-winding three-phase step-up transformer. The said windings have a common point and, respectively, in each phase are connected to each other in parallel and to the block of output capacitors and load phases. The three-phase high ac voltage converter also has a control system and blocks of stand-alone inverters. The autotransformer is made with identical windings connected in parallel in each phase, the number of which is equal to the total number of stand-alone inverters connected them. The corresponding inputs of the latter are connected to each other and to smoothing capacitors, and their output phases are connected to the corresponding lead-outs of parallel connected windings of the autotransformer, which have a common point. Control circuits of the stand-alone inverters are connected to the corresponding, common outputs of the control system.
