FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electronics and can be used in microwave technology. The microwave gyrator has a microstrip insulating substrate 1 with two microstrip lines in mutually perpendicular planes. The input microstrip line 3 is electromagnetically coupled with the input microstrip transmission line component 4, made in form of an inductor, which is the input element of the gyrator. The output microstrip line 5 is electromagnetically coupled with the output microstrip transmission line component 6, made in form of a capacitor, which is the output element of the gyrator. Between the above mentioned microstrip elements, there is a magnetoelectric planar element 7.
EFFECT: wider bandwidth the gyrator, transformation of impedance and signal using a simple and cheap method, reduced size of the device and production effectiveness.
