FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to data transfer. For quasiorthogonal multiplexing in an OFDMA system, several sets (M) of traffic channels are defined for each base station. Traffic channels in each set are orthogonal to each other and can be pseudorandom relative traffic channels in each of the other sets. The minimum number of sets of traffic channels (L) is used for supporting the given number (U), of terminals, selected for data transfer. Each terminal transmits data symbols and pilot signals in its traffic channel. The base station receives data transmitted from all terminals and can carry out spatial processing of the receiving device on the received symbols using a spatial filtering matrix to obtain the detected data symbols. The spatial filtering matrix for each sub-band can be derived based on evaluations of channel characteristics for all terminals, transmitting in this sub-band.
EFFECT: increased band-width of the system.
