FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: signals are efficiently sent in a readjusted CDMA (code division multiple access) control segment. In order to send a signal, transmission parametres for the CDMA control segment for the servicing sector are determined. The said parametres can indicate the size of the CDMA control segment, frames in which the CDMA control segment is sent, signalling channels which must be sent in the CDMA control segment, etc. CDMA signalling channels authorised for the terminal and the average transmission interval for each authorised CDMA signalling channel are determined. For each frame in which the CDMA control segment is sent, signaling channels which must be sent in the CDMA control channel in the given frame are determined. Signals for each signalling channel are processed (e.g. coded, formed into channels, scaled and scrambled). Processed signals for all signaling channels are combined and displayed in a frequency and time domain used for the CDMA control segment in the frame.

EFFECT: higher quality of signalling channels.
