FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: for production of welded tubes and metal structures method consists in heating slabs, in hot rolling strips with regulated temperature of rolling finish, in cooling with water to temperature of winding and in winding into coils; also steel has following chemical composition, wt %: 0.02-0.10 C, 0.15-0.50 Mn, 0.02-0.05 Al, not more 0.05 Si, not more 0.20 Cr, not more 0.15 Ni, not more 0.20 Cu, not more 0.020 S, not more 0.020 P, not more 0.012 N, Fe - the rest. Temperature of winding Twnd of strips is maintained within ranges 600-650°C, while temperature of rolling finish TRF is set depending on thickness H of a rolled strip: TRF≥780°C at H=0.80-2.99 and TRF≥870°C at H≥3.00 mm.
EFFECT: reduced production costs.
