FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: pavement marker is comprised a low surface with a multiple set of edges. The low surface is formed by a multiple set of grooves and divided into sectors. The multiple set of grooves are available in each sector. The above-mentioned grooves in each sector are parallel to the other grooves in neighboring sectors. Practically they are stretched continuously from their internal position on the section to one of the said edges to ensure that air could be forcibly delivered outside through the above grooves. At the same time, bigger area of surface contact with another surface being located between low surface and pavement adhesive is ensured. The grooves in each sector are directed at an angle to grooves located in each neighboring section so that grooves are at various angles to direction of tyres on pavement marker.
EFFECT: invention allows for safer traffic, extended marker lifetime and improved standing stability from shifting in case of vehicle run-over.
