FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: screw centrifugal pump 1 comprises body 3 having inlet hole 3c, and impeller 2. Impeller 2 is installed inside body 3 and may rotate around axis of rotation 2d in direction of rotation 4a. Impeller 2 has blade inlet edge 2a passing along spiral. In area of inlet hole 3c guide wing 5 is installed, which protrudes into internal space of impeller 2.
EFFECT: increased reliability of pump operation by prevention of pump clogging by plaits from fibrous materials due to their grinding, weakening or cutting.
