FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a blade, a vane or any other element of a propeller, wing, strut or aircraft body. Kinetic energy absorption device contains an outer sheath made of braided composite material with the possibility to maintain the integrity after impact, a core made of foam material enclosed in the outer sheath and filling the outer sheath, reinforcing elements integrated into the core made of foam material. The reinforcing elements comprise discontinuous yarns introduced by means of sewing into the core made of foam material. Each of the discontinuous yarns has a head in the form of L or T, flanged from the outside of the outer sheath.
EFFECT: increased reliability and integrity of the structure when colliding with birds or hard objects.
