FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering and is to be implemented for steam generator design and construction. The proposed steam generator straight-flow pulverised coal burner contains ducts for air-and-fuel mixture, secondary air and recycled gases. The burner is designed as a stationary unit positioned outside the mobile embrasure constituted by the furnace waterwalls. Some of the ducts that do not interfere with the embrasure travel are extended into the embrasure area. Inside the embrasure duct sections are arranged associated with sections of the burner stationary ducts. At the embrasure outlet the duct exit edges form splitters or spouts that provide for flow of combustion products out of the furnace volume towards the embrasure.
EFFECT: enhanced burning process efficiency due to furnace waterwalls slagging reduction as well as reduced content of nitrogen oxides in the emissions.
