FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of hydrocarbon-saturated flux (primarily - natural gas) liquefaction is based on exchange of heat with coolant media mixtures in a cascade of two cooling circuits. The first cooling circuit (E1) is designed for pre-cooling of the hydrocarbon-saturated flux to be liquefied while the second cooling circuit (E2) is designed for the hydrocarbon-saturated flux (a) liquefaction and supercooling. Each circuit is equipped with at least a single mono- or multi-stage compressor (V1, V2) driven by at least a single gas turbine (G1, G2) equipped with a starter device that is used for the gas turbine operational maintenance in the standard liquefaction mode. In accordance with the invention concept the second coolant media mixture cooling circuit (V2) is equipped with a cold-suction compressor providing for a minimum compression ratio = 10. The first coolant media mixture cooling circuit is at least partly used for intermediate cooling (E1) of at least part of the flux (36, 39) of the partly compressed coolant media mixture of the second cooling circuit.
EFFECT: provision for comprehensive utilisation of the gas turbine total capacity as well as reduction of operational and capital costs.
