FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: method of liquefying the flow rich in hydrocarbons is proposed, and mainly, natural gas flow owing to its heat exchange with cooling agents mixtures in a cascade from three cooling cycles; the first one is intended for pre-cooling of the flow rich in hydrocarbons, the second one - for its liquefying, and the third one - for after-cooling the liquefied flow rich in hydrocarbons. According to the invention, for compressing mixture of cooling agents (2c) of the third cooling cycle, two compressors (V2, V2') installed in series and mainly having the same power are used, and for compressing mixture of cooling agents (3c, 3e, 4c, 4e) of the first and the second cooling cycles there used are compressors (V4, V3) mainly of the power similar to that of compressors (V2, V2') of the third cooling cycle.
EFFECT: optimising power consumption at decrease of flow rich in hydrocarbons.
