FIELD: physics; signalling.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to provision for automatic monitoring of the state of locking and sealing devices. The electronic seal comprises a case and a piece of cable, consisting of an outer shell, surrounding at least one inner conductor. One end of the cable is rigidly tied to the case and is joined to a unit for monitoring integrity of the cable. The other working end of the cable, after fitting on a lockable object, is attached to a locking mechanism put inside the case. The device also contains means of storing sealing information and data exchange with a portable and/or stationary reading device. One inner conductor is made from electroconductive non-metallic material, with high value of relative elongation, stretched in the initial position and forms an electrical loop with another conductor, made, for example from a copper wire, and/or the outer shell of the cable. The above mentioned loop is electrically connected to the unit for monitoring integrity of the cable. There are two more versions of implementing the invention.
EFFECT: improvement operational technical characteristics of the electronic seal and increased durability of the locking element.
