FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering immediately dealing with design of electrical machines; its implementation is to provide for transfer of torque, for example to the wheels of an electrically-propelled vehicle, mill roller or any other mechanism. The technical effect specified is due to the electrical machine being designed as containing the following components: a ring armature with a winding, an excitation winding and a collector electrode with brushes (all - mounted inside the housing), at least three gearwheels retaining the armature and mounted so that to enable rotation round their axles rigidly fixed inside the housing. Along the armature major diametre perimetre there are teeth arranged remaining in engagement with those of the gearwheels. The excitation winding forms a hollow toroid encasing the whole of the armature winding. The excitation winding acts as a dipole magnet with regard to the armature winding section encased by it. The collector electrode plates are arranged along the armature minor diametre perimeter attached directly to the armature winding coils.
EFFECT: enhancement of such parametres as performance, capacity, speed, acceleration and rotation uniformity combined with minimisation of the machine costs, weight, armature starting current and negative impact of magnetic field on human health.
