FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of manufacturing meat-and-vegetable canned food for space meals. Canned food is cooked as follows: carrots, white roots and raw onions are sliced, browned in melted butter and strained; asparagus and herbs are frozen and minced; rabbit meat is minced; wheat flour is browned in melted butter. The above-mentioned ingredients are mixed with bone broth, tomato paste, sugar, culinary salt and CO2-extracts of hot black pepper and bay leaf. The resultant mixture is packaged in aluminium tubes, vacuum-sealed and sterilised.
EFFECT: invention allows to prepare new preserved food for space meals with higher digestibility compared to similar culinary dish.
