FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, surgery, can be used in restorative surgery following obstructive after obstructive colon resection. An elastic probe provided with a probing olive is installed in non-functioning rectal stump. The probing olive comprises a light source in the middle and is filled with liquid to reach the diametre 2.5 cm.
EFFECT: method allows identifying the non-functioning rectal stump within circumflex small pelvis organs and tissues both with palpation, and in the light source connection with transillumination, holding the stump in the hands while been separated from adhesive process.
