PROSTHETIC VENOUS VALVE SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61F2/06

Abstract RU 2358692 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to vascular surgery. A system represents a thin-walled free-deforming cylindrical polymer tube of external diametre equal to internal diametre of the vein, inserted into the vein. The first end of the inserted tube in the vein lumen is fixed with separate traction sutures, while the second prosthesis end is fixed by circular suturing involving the prosthetic venous valve end into the vascular suture. The upper part of the first end of said polymer tube comprises pre-closure of the exit edge of the polymer cylindrical tube thus forming a V-fold ensured along the full length and decreased by one-, two- or three-sided way. Each fold is fixed on the vein wall with a clearance between the tube and the vein wall. The length of the polymer tube may exceed the distance of traction sutures to circular suturing line.

EFFECT: invention improves valve hemodynamics.
