The composition for topical application in the treatment of onychomycosis contains naftifine and purified water, additionally dimethyl sulfoxide, carbomer, methylparaben and propylparaben, with the following content of ingredients, wt.%: naftifine - 1.0, dimethyl sulfoxide - 60.0, carbomer - 1.0, methylparaben - 0.1, propylparaben - 0.1, purified water - the rest up to 100.0. The composition for topical application in the treatment of onychomycosis contains naftifine and purified water, additionally dimethyl sulfoxide, carbomer, urea, methyl paraben and propyl paraben, with the following content of ingredients, wt.%: naftifine - 1.0, dimethyl sulfoxide - 60.0, urea - 1.5, carbomer - 1.0, methylparaben - 0.1, propylparaben - 0.1, purified water - the rest up to 100.0.

EFFECT: inventions group provides an increase in the therapeutic effect in the form of a larger number of cured and in a shorter time due to better penetration of the fungicide through the nail and a higher fungicidal activity, as well as a reduction in drug consumption, a larger amount of active ingredients entering the pathological focus and a decrease in the frequency of application.
