FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to kinetic energy storage devices. Kinetic energy accumulator contains an evacuated body in the form of a cylinder with a cover, a stator, which is installed in a cylindrical cavity of the cover, made outside in relation to the evacuated cavity of the body, a rotor in the form of a hollow cylindrical working element, which is fixed on the shaft so that the geometrical axes coincide when the rotor rotates. of the cylinder of the working element and the shaft and is vertically mounted for rotation in the housing by means of the upper and lower supports, and permanent plate magnets mounted on the cylinder of the working element of the rotor around the circumference with alternating their poles arranged radially and placed to ensure magnetic interaction with the stator. The rotor is equipped with a hollow cylindrical balancing element, which is installed in the cavity of the working element of the rotor or covers the working element of the rotor. The balancing element is connected to the rotor by an elastic damping element, which is configured to provide displacement of the balancing element in three planes during rotation of the rotor.
EFFECT: increase in efficiency.
