FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: siren of opposite resonance waves picked up from single uniform-length rotor relates to devices designed to create resonance hydroacoustic oscillations in running fluid or gaseous medium. The proposed siren of opposite resonance waves comprises coaxially arranged cylindrical stator representing a circular hydroacoustic resonator and rotor, the adjoining surfaces of the rotor and stator being furnished with through openings arranged uniformly along the circumference. It also includes the rotor regular rotation drive, device to feed fluid or gaseous medium into the rotor, the said device being composed of the rotor impeller and/or external blower, as well as outlet branch pipes to discharge aforesaid medium. The siren stator consists of consecutive lengthwise sections furnished with openings, the number of stator openings differing from that of the rotor by one opening to initiate revolving resonance wave of resonator oscillations. Note here that the number of such sections in the stator is an arbitrary one. Note also that aforesaid sections consecutively alternate to provide for counter rotation of resonance running waves on adjacent borders of the sections, and that all outlet branch pipes are located tangentially to the stator outside surface along the direction towards appropriate running waves.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, ease of manufacture, reliability and economic operation.
