FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed air-gravity classifier incorporates a housing made up of the inner and outer walls, zigzag-like in vertical plane and circular in horizontal plane, that form a classification chamber, vertical radial partitions uniformly arranged along the circumference in the classification chamber horizontal plane, a distributing device arranged in the housing inner wall to interact with the circular horizontal hole, a pipe to feed starting materials to the distributing device arranged on the housing top part, a branch pipe to force airflow with minor fraction of the finished product out arranged at the housing top, and a branch pipe to force the major part of the said product arranged at the housing bottom. The inner wall has a circular horizontal hole. The distributing device represents a cone or a disk arranged to revolve and furnished with a drive. Vertical radial partitions have the length smaller than the height of classification chamber and are arranged in several rows along the classification chamber vertical line. Every lower row of partitions is displaced along the circumference relative to the upper row.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of classification.
