FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: air gravity separator consists of battery of cascade separation shafts, located around the perimeter of equilateral polygon. Device intended to distribute initial material between shafts, is located for its symmetry axis to coincide with the vertical symmetry axis of separator; device is made in the form of the fixed cone or in the form of rotatable disk equipped with a drive. Nozzle used to supply the initial material is located above the initial material distributing device in alignment with the initial material distributing device. Nozzle used to discharge fine-grained fraction along with air flow is located at the upper part of separator.
EFFECT: enhancing the material separation accuracy, reduction of specific energy consumption.
