FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed knife comprises a blade, blade holder and working member moving along the former. A kinematic converter is arranged between the said working member and blade holder to cause additional relative motion of blade holder and working member irrespective of the blade holder pulled out position. The blade holder is articulated with the working member. The additional relative motion allows the separation of two coupling elements that links the working member and blade holder in the pull-out direction only.
EFFECT: moving blade holder back into safe position.
