FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method is described to manufacture item having image visible with the help of incident light reflected from three-dimensional profiled surface. At that item comprises non-transparent substrate and translucent, transparent or semi-transparent covering. At that at least part of external surface of covering is not flat. Substrate has profiled surface, and covering layer is placed on at least part of specified profiled surface. Method includes operation of computer system usage for issue of information that corresponds to three-dimensional image. Then generated information is used to control device for generation of at least part of mold for creation of profiled surface of substrate. Then mentioned mold is used to form at least profiled surface of substrate, and covering layer is applied onto at least part of specified profiled surface of substrate.
EFFECT: easier method of imaging in item.
