FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed composition contains an organoborane/amine complex, at least one organoaluminium compound in an amount, sufficient to inhibit solidification of the orgnoborane/amine complex, using a polymerisation initiator as part of the initiation system, with olefinic unsaturation. Description is also given of a composition capable of polymerisation, containing one or several monomers, oligomers or polymers, with olefinic unsaturation, and the above mentioned composition as an initiation system.
EFFECT: obtaining a system of initiators which are safe to handle, not pyrophoric, have high stability in the presence of compounds with olefinic unsaturation; obtaining compositions which are capable of polymerisation, thermally stable at room temperature and can be polymerised whenever the user wishes.
