FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy field, particularly to composition of chromous cast iron. It can be used for manufacturing of products, operating in friction and wear conditions. Cast iron contains, wt %: carbon 3.2-3.6; silicon 1.0-1.4; manganese 2.0-3.0; nickel 3.0-4.0; chrome 28.0-30.0; zirconium 0.1-0.2; niobium 1.0-2.0; stibium 0.1-0.15; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: cast iron alloys high hardness.
