FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, namely, to cast iron compositions that can be used for producing parts of furnaces and metallurgical equipment. Proposed iron contains, in wt %: carbon - 3.0-3.6; silicon - 1.8-2.2; manganese - 0.1-0.2; vanadium - 0.2-0.24; molybdenum - 0.8-1.0; aluminium - 2.2-2.6; nickel - 1.3-1.7; chromium - 1.3-1.7; tantalum - 0.11-0.13; titanium - 0.006-0.008; stibium - 0.01-0.02; tin - 0.01-0.02; cobalt - 4.2-4.6; zirconium - 0.4-0.6; iron making the rest.
EFFECT: increased heat resistance.
