FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to process-dependent parameters checkout of aluminium electrolyser field and can be used in electrolytic manufacture of aluminium for control of electrolysis bath productivity, voltage dip at section anode-melt of aluminium and disclosure of local variation of distribution in anode pack and bottom of aluminium electrolyser during the process of its operation. Method includes measurement of electric parametres of electrolyser separate sections including anodic and cathode assemblies, definition of distribution by these assemblies; measurement of static characteristics of fluctuation at section anode- melt of aluminium, definition of these values departure from normative technological. Furthermore, there are measured resistance of contacting to aluminium melt additional electrodes, isolated from each other and melt of electrolyte by means of stable to hostile environment of electrolysis bath conduit, and by value of measured electrode resistance, made of the material with low electroconductivity, it is defined electrolyser operating efficiency.
EFFECT: operating efficiency increase of electrolysis baths and life time increasing.
