FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nonferrous metallurgy, particularly to electrolytic production of aluminium. Device includes an electromagnetic sensor, an input signal normaliser, an analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) and a microprocessor. Sensor is installed on one end of pole made from non-conducting material and length of which is sufficient for free access to conductor with current, and its output is connected through series-connected input signal normaliser and ADC to microprocessor. Output of microprocessor is equipped with USB connector for reading accumulated data on measured values of current. Device is equipped with second electromagnetic sensor installed opposite first sensor relative to centre conductor with current, wherein electromagnetic sensors are connected in series and fixed with help of a limiter, and their common output is connected by a twisted pair to input of normaliser of input signals.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of control of current distribution.
