FIELD: production processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying of, preferably, plate-like products containing water in multideck conveyor drier. The proposed method, wherein drying is carried out by high-temperature drying air in circulation conditions, the drying air is sucked in by axial fans and fed through the intake holes of several nozzle boxes arranged on every deck, above and below the transportation plane. The drying air from the nozzle of appropriate nozzle box and directed towards the product is forced towards the product to take moisture thereof. The drying air saturated with moisture is forced back the aforesaid fans. Note that, because of thermodynamic properties, one fraction of drying air saturated with moisture accumulates at the drier top deck to be sucked off and directed into suction zone of lower deck axial fans. Then, moist air is fractionally adulterated to drying air and fed to nozzle boxes of, at least, one deck. The proposed drier comprising rollers or belt-type conveyors for transportation of products inside it differs from known designs in that it comprises several consecutive sections arranged along the transportation direction wherein drying air circulates. Note that every section comprises, at least, one central heat source and several axial fans arranged vertically, one above the other in the ventilation rack, to feed drying air directly into suction orifices via, at least, one heat source. A vertical air channel incorporates with the fan rack casing. The aforesaid channel free end, at a distance from the top horizontal casing inner side, has a suction orifice. Note that the air channel wall, opposite the suction side of every axial fan, features the orifices for selective suction of circulation moist-saturated air.
EFFECT: residual moisture content fraction in dried products approximates to constant value after drying irrespective of conveyor drier deck they pass through.
