FACILITY FOR DISTRIBUTING GAS IN SHAFT GRAIN DRYER Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC F26B17/12 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: facility is intended for convective drying of disperse materials, for example, grain in dense layer and can be implemented in agriculture and other branches of industry. The facility consists of a drying chamber with supplying boxes and of a supplying chamber. Each supplying box is connected with the supplying chamber by means of a head, lengthwise profile of which has the shape of cross section of the box; all side faces are gas tight, while end faces are open. The head is secured on the walls of the drying chamber in such way, that one of its end faces tightly adjoins the end face of the box. The second end face of the head is tightly connected with an additional head made in form of a bent pipe, open free end surface of which is turned to meet gas flow in the supplying chamber. Length L of the head is various according to height of the drying chamber.

EFFECT: upgraded uniformity of gas distribution along boxes of drying chamber, improves quality of drying and increased efficiency of drying equipment.
