FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. Device sizes are defined depending on width b of inlet (outlet) channel of every box by the following relations: distance between boxes in every horizontal row: b1=(1.9-2.1)b; maximum box width b2=(1.6-1.7)b; distance between boxes in shaft height: b3=(1.85-2.05)b; height of box top b4=(1.5-1/6)b; box bottom height b5=(0.45-0.48)b; shaft box length b6=(12-14)b. Proposed device distributes gas as follows. Heated gas from feed chamber flows into feed gas distribution boxes (half-boxes) 2 via openings 4. Then, gas flows via box exposed bottom into grain layer to heat it and absorb evaporated moisture. Used gas flows into discharge boxes 3 via their exposed bottom and, via opening 5, into discharge chamber.
EFFECT: uniform gas distribution, higher quality of drying and efficiency.
