FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical cleaning of evaporating and heat-exchange equipment from sediments, consisting of copper corrosion products, and also magnesium hydro-oxide, calcium and magnesium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and can be used during chemical cleaning of heat-exchange equipment in energy, chemical and metal manufacture. Method includes two stages, at the first stage it is implemented copper dissolvent from deposit by ammonium carbonate solution, and at the second stage it is implemented sediments dissolution by means of 3 - 5 % of boric acid solution. Additionally copper dissolution is implemented by ammonium carbonate solution with concentration not higher 100 g/l at temperature not higher 50 °C.
EFFECT: method provides reduction of corrosion rate and prevent metal copper sedimentation on the surface of treated equipment during treatment implementation.
