FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, particularly, to guided artillery projectiles with the laser semi-active homing head. The proposed method comprises recording the time of using the projectile onboard systems in the commanding officer control board ROM in the form of a firing table. Note that the time intervals of using the said projectile onboard systems depend on range of fire, meteorological data and ballistic corrections. The time of using the said systems in the commanding officer control board ROM in the form of a firing table is calculated in compliance with target and gun coordinates meteorological data and ballistic corrections entered into the commander control board. The time of using the said systems is set by transmitting calculated values into the projectile electronic hardware memory via a digital transmission line arranged between the control board and the projectile. Control over the validity of entered data is effected by retrieving it from the projectile memory into the commander control board and comparing retrieved and entered data for their compliance.
EFFECT: reduced projectile weight and sizes, unified system of projectile flight parametres input for various guided artillery projectiles.
