FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: use: for definition of product life made of fragile material. Essence of invention: non-destructive method is used for definition of limit load for product and for each sample of representative sampling from product material. All samples from product material are tested at any deformation, but at permanent relation of load characterising the mode to limit load not decreasing yet sample strength. Product limit load value and relation of load characterising the coming product steady loading is defined. At limit load defining product or sample are oriented in relation to load like at its further use. Then the sample life is defined at known relation of acting load to limit one and also, by express-method of non-dimensional parametre of crack equation. Received results indicate product life at specified loading conditions.
EFFECT: decrease of test period necessary for evaluation of exact product life at specified loading conditions, provision of possibility to perform testing in conditions of bending, compression, extension, regardless of product deformation type.
