SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to means of detecting remote applications. According to one aspect, Web-service is provided for on the Internet. This Web-service is connected to a public network and provides for detecting, using a remote client computer through a public network, information corresponding to application(s) in an intranet network. Request for detecting remote applications contains identification data of the user of the remote client computer, which is external in relation to the intranet network. The application(s) is (are) configured for access based on the terminal server of the user of the remote client computer. Detection of the given information is done depending on the said identification data.

EFFECT: easier access to applications in a network.
