SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of computer engineering and may be used for transformation of analogue signals into digital code. The result is achieved by the fact that in device that consists of successive approximation register (SAR), summation unit that contains digital-analog converter (DAC), comparator, control circuit, generator of clock pulses (CPG) and reference voltage source (negative voltage), additionally the following components have been introduced: distraction unit, the second comparator and element "exclusive NOR".

EFFECT: reduced average amount of clock pulses in transformation cycle.
