FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: drive comprises traction electric motor with hollow shaft of anchor, inside of which cardan shaft (4) is installed, which is connected by clutches with anchor shaft and shaft (7) of reduction unit gear (8), which is engaged with gear wheel rigidly connected to wheelset axle. Reduction unit body from one end via bearings rests on wheelset axle, and from the other end it is connected to sprung part of carriage. Every clutch consists of two flanges (14, 15) with journals (16, 17) and has even number, but not less than six journals, half of which belongs to one half-clutch, and the second half belongs to the other half-clutch. Between journals along circumference rubber shock absorbers (18) are installed in compressed condition, every of which with one side rests against journal of one half-clutch, and with their other side it rests against journal of other half-clutch.
EFFECT: simplified design, increased reliability and resource of wheelset drive.
