ANTI-FREEZING BREATHING VALVE Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B65D90/32 F16K17/19 

FIELD: mechanics; oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: breathing valve consists of a metal tube with a hole made in the wall, on which a rubber tube is put on. Upper hole of the tube is closed with a disc that is welded thereto, and lower end of rubber tube is held with a clamp. Besides, to metal tube there welded are two flanges, one of them - to lower tube end, and the other one - above lower flange. Valve consists of a round steel casing that is fixed on the second flange by a bolt connection. At that, gas outlet is welded to the casing's cover plate. Disc closing the tube is provided with a hole for an air inlet device to be installed inside the tube. That device consists of a steel bar, a rubber sealing and a middle disc, which are connected to each other by a bolt connection and connected with a bolt to upper disc that is attached to the tube disc. At that, in upper disc there made are two holes that are aligned with the hole made in the middle tube disc, through which air passes thus bending the rubber sealing inside the tube. At that, all the valve parts are coated with plastic fluor-4 film.

EFFECT: safe oil storage; decrease of evaporation area and volume of gas space for maintaining quality of stored liquid.
