FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a device and method of coating tablets. The said device contains a drum which is perforated and which has front and rear sides. The device is provided with a first line for inlet of suspension or air through the front side and a second line for inlet of air or suspension through the rear side. The line for inlet of suspension at the end which is located inside the drum is provided with at least one atomiser. During operation, the drum is filled with tablets and suspension is let into the drum from one end of the drum. The suspension is sprayed inside the drum, heated and air is let into the drum from the other end. The drum is rotated when air and suspension are being let in. Tablets are taken out with deposition of coating on them.
EFFECT: easier tablet coating.
