SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the apparatus for vacuum-treating the reinforcing fiber and to the method for vacuum-treating the reinforcing fiber. Mentioned device comprises the chamber, which is configured in order to maintain the reduced pressure state therein, the feeding roller, which is located with the possibility to suspend the reinforcing fiber in the mentioned chamber, the coating application device, which is located in the mentioned chamber the possibility of passing the reinforcing fiber through it, which is suspended in the mentioned chamber, the gripping device is arranged in order to grip and hold the forward end of the reinforcing fiber in its place, which passes through the mentioned coating device and vertically falls down, the winding drum for winding the reinforcing fiber, which is processed using the mentioned coating application device, and the elastic cord, which is retracted in synchrony with the rotation of the winding drum from its first position, in which the elastic cord surrounds the mentioned forward end of the reinforcing fiber that is held in place by the mentioned gripping device to its second position, in which the elastic cord comes into contact with the reinforcing fiber and leads it to the winding drum. Mentioned method for vacuum-treating the reinforcing fiber is performed using the above-described device.

EFFECT: It is possible to replace the winding drums while maintaining the majority of the device under suction and the ability to insert fibers into the new winding drum and begin winding while maintaining the device as a whole in the reduced pressure state.
