FIELD: paper.
SUBSTANCE: press belt has closed circuit and is made of elastomer. Belt has internal and external surface and three layers of reinforcing threads installed inside elastomer material. External layer of threads is formed by longitudinal reinforcing threads of press belt that are adjacent in transverse direction. Material and/or structure of external layer reinforcing threads are thus much more flexible compared to material and/or structure of reinforcing threads of internal layer that in case of deformation they absorb more energy and are restored after deformation slower than threads of internal layer of threads.
EFFECT: increased service life of press belt due to prevention of cracks production and spreading.
