FIELD: motors and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: method of slurry production provides for mixing liquid and solid particles. Initially, adiabatic container is filled with fluid and vacuumed to relieve pressure to the value not higher than the pressure in triple point of the fluid. Then fluid is sprayed as micro particles into the adiabatic container by fluid supply unit in order to solidify the said fluid owing to the latent heat of transformation and to produce solid particles. The said solid particles are then mixed up with initial fluid to get ice slurry. Device for ice slurry production consists of the adiabatic container to be initially filled with fluid, pressure relieving device to vacuum the inner part of the adiabatic container to the value not higher than that in the triple point, device for fluid supply to stray it as micro particles into the phase part of vacuumed adiabatic container and mixer for mixing up the initial fluid and solid particles produced from sprayed fluid solidification due to the latent heat of transformation.
EFFECT: improved effectiveness and reliability of ice slurry production.
