FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains a sensitive volume, illuminated with a beam of light with wavelength λ1, provided with a first measuring channel, and at least a second sensitive volume, illuminated with a beam of light with wavelength λ2 and provided with a second measuring channel. Each measuring channel contains series arranged light filter, which transmits one of the wavelengths λ1 and λ2, focusing lens, field stop, and a photodetector, which converts an optical signal into an electric pulse. Each electric pulse enters an electronic unit, electric signals from which are quantised and accumulated in an intermediate memory unit. Information from intermediate memory units of the first and second measuring channels is downloaded onto a computer, which carries out amplitude analysis of the data. The electronic unit of the second measuring channel generates and transmits signals from the intermediate memory of the fist measuring channel.

EFFECT: wider dynamic range of measuring dispersion composition and concentration of aerosols.
