FIELD: electric engineering; vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to electric engineering, to electrical equipment of vehicles, namely to power semi-conductor transducer systems for passenger trains and freight locomotives. The power semi-conductor transducer system (1) for supplying power to vehicle contains high voltage transducer 1 (2) for converting drive synchronous generator three-phase ac current into dc current to energise drive engines of locomotives. The said system also includes another high voltage transducer (3) to feed common bus ducts of the train, and high voltage adapter (4) for power and cable connections. The structure of the proposed by the invention system ensures independent power supply of drive locomotive engines and uninterruptible power supply of common bus ducts of the train and locomotive. The centralised electrical heating system of the train is connected to the above-mentioned bus ducts.

EFFECT: improved safety due to prevention of unauthorised access, improved reliability and safe operation under severe road conditions.
