WAY OF OPERATIVE TREATMENT OF MULTISPLINTERED FRACTURES OF DISTAL METAEPIPHYSIS OF HUMERAL BONE AT CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B17/56 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely to children's traumatology-orthopedy, and is intended for bracing of osteal fragments at children and teenagers at operative treatment of multisplintered fractures of a distal metaepiphysis of a humeral bone. The essence of the method consists in reposition of the fragments, closed applying of Ilizarov's apparatus. The open reposition by access to a distal metaepiphysis of a humeral bone from 2 cuts on an internal and external surface of an ulnar joint 10-15 cm is made depending on the age. The ulnar nerve is allocated and blocked; time bracing by the limited quantity of two-dimensional spokes depending on quantity of fragments till 2-3 weeks is carried out. Then the Ilizarov's apparatus is imposed without bracing of an ulnar joint.

EFFECT: use of the given invention allows spending a stable osteosynthesis of multisplintered fractures of a distal metaepiphysis of a humeral bone, preventing neurologic disturbances and contractures of an ulnar joint, to raise reliability and stability of bracing of osteal fragments, and also to reduce time necessary for aftertreatment.
