FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traumatology and orthopedics and may be applicable for the surgical treatment of a fracture of the proximal humerus. Autograft is prepared from the fibular bone diaphysis in accordance with the length of the reduced bone fragments of the proximal humerus, the autograft is treated keeping it in the form of a closed bone tube and in accordance with the diameter of the medullary canal of the humerus. Then diaplasis is performed. Osteosynthesis with the autograft and an auger plate with holes is performed placing its distal part distal to the fracture with the possibility of introducing at least three screws through the holes of the plate, which is done through the cortical layers of the humerus and the autograft.
EFFECT: method enables increasing the fixation stability.
