FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises the base representing a screw with not-irreversible thread and guiding surfaces, arranged parallel to its axis, fixed and movable jaws and nut fitted on the screw, a clamping element interacting with the nut. The latter has a collar entering, with a clearance, the slot made in the aforesaid movable jaw, and an outer irreversible thread to match the clamping element representing an extra nut interacting with the movable jaw end face, via the sleeve locked against turning relative to the nut. Note here that the movable jaw and nut are elongated, their total length exceeding that of the screw. The sleeve end face that faces the movable jaw may have a corrugated surface to increase the moment of friction. Note also that the nut is furnished with a plugged chamber.
