FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to content of grey cast iron. It can be used in mechanical engineering. Cast iron contains, wt %: carbon 2.8-3.2; silicon 1.6-2.4; manganese 1.0-1.2; tin 0.01-0.03; chrome 0.3-0.4; vanadium 0.4-0.6; stibium 0.05-0.1; aluminium 0.5-0.9; copper 0.2-0.4; zinc 0.003-0.005; silver 0.003-0.005; nitrogen 0.003-0.005; iron - the rest. Cast iron allows high castability.
EFFECT: increasing of cast iron castability.
