FIELD: physics; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for measuring magnetisation of magnetic liquid. Cylindrical and spherical samples are used and constant field intensity H1 is measured in the cylindrical sample and H2 in the spherical sample, at which there is maximum amplitude of NMR signals from these samples of magnetic liquid. Magnetisation J is calculated using the formula: J=3(H2-H1), if the axis of the cylinder is parallel the field vector H, or using the formula: J=6(H1-H2), if the axis of the cylinder is perpendicular to the field vector H.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measuring static magnetisation of magnetic liquid.
